J.J. Gandy’s Pies opened for business in October of 1982. Our name comes from “J” for Jeff (son), “J” for Jodi (daughter), “G” for Gay (Mom), “Andy” for Andy (he got his entire name in there…he is Dad!) and “S” for our last name, Schmidt.
Originally located in Alderman Plaza from 1982 until 1987, we outgrew our space there and relocated to our present location at 3725 Alt. 19 (Palm Harbor Blvd). Over the years, we have done very little advertising. You, the customer, are our best advertisement. Thank you for spreading our “sweet news”.
Our specialty is pies. Key Lime pie is our best seller by far; all of our customers say it’s the best Key Lime pie they have ever had. Many of our pies have been hand-carried across the country and around the world to share with distant family and friends.
